I have had the privilege of living in the Aspen Valley for nearly three decades, having been born and raised here. My connection to this picturesque region runs deep, though my journey has taken me beyond its borders. I spent eight years away from the Valley pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and gaining valuable experience working on various heavy civil projects across Colorado. This period of exploration and professional growth enriched my skills and broadened my horizons, but my roots remained firmly planted in Aspen.
In my free time, I find joy in a range of activities that align with the adventurous spirit of the Rockies. Riding snowmobiles through the snow-covered trails, exploring the rugged terrain in my side-byside, and camping under the starry skies are among my favorite pastimes. Additionally, I relish social gatherings that blend relaxation with fun, particularly those that involve drinks and yard games. These activities not only offer me a break from the routine but also strengthen my connections with friends and family.
The Roaring Fork Valley holds a unique place in my heart—it is home. The natural beauty, the closeknit community, and the familiar landscape create a sense of belonging that is irreplaceable. The Valley is where my life’s narrative began and where it continues to unfold, making it a special and enduring part of my identity.
My inspiration to work in the construction industry is deeply rooted in my upbringing. Growing up around my father’s concrete business in the Valley, I was immersed in the world of construction from a young age. This early exposure made the field feel like a natural fit for me. I am driven by the satisfaction that comes from seeing a project through from its inception to its completion. There is a profound sense of accomplishment in transforming plans into tangible structures, and this has been a central motivator in my professional journey.
In summary, my long-standing connection to Aspen Valley, coupled with my love for outdoor adventures and social engagements, defines my life here. My career in construction, inspired by my familial background, allows me to channel my passion into meaningful work. The Roaring Fork Valley remains not just a location but a fundamental part of who I am.
